Evidence,
not promises.
Nobody controls Google's AI or ChatGPT, and nobody honest guarantees rankings. Here is what we measure, how we measure it and what we promise instead.
Every claim is tagged
Everything in our reports is marked evidence (verified, cited, screenshotted with dates), inference (a reasoned conclusion from that evidence) or assumption (awaiting your confirmation). You always see what we know versus what we think.
One honest number
We agree the searches that matter to your firm and run each of them monthly through the AI engines and Google - the same way each time, logged out, dated. You see the share of those searches in which your firm is named, moving (or not) over time. You can check it yourself; we'd encourage it.
We guarantee our fee, never the engines
Where we offer guarantees, they are refunds of our own fee against things we control, judged from a dated baseline. Improved, measured, monitored presence, honestly reported either way - that's the promise.
The surfaces that matter, tested the same way every time.
The core surfaces are ChatGPT, Google's AI (AI Overviews and AI Mode) and Google's local results - with Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity checked weekly alongside.
Every search is run logged out, dated and repeated across runs, because AI answers are volatile and a single search proves nothing. A baseline is at least three captures over two or more weeks; anything less is noise, and we say so.
As the engines shift - and they do - we test for it and publish what we find, rather than guessing.
Everything we measure about your firm, we measure about ourselves.
The promises
we won't make.
No one controls Google's AI or ChatGPT, and we will never guarantee a ranking or promise you instructions - be wary of anyone who does.
What we guarantee is our own fee: measurable work, honestly reported, refunded where we say it will be. Nothing publishes under your name without your partner's written sign-off. No long lock-ins - after the first engagement, everything is monthly with 30 days' notice.
Within the rules,
by design.
The same discipline applies to your regulatory standing. We work within the SRA Code of Conduct, and what we publish for your firm is information for the public - never legal advice. Nothing goes live until your nominated partner has signed it off in writing, so your firm stays in control of every word that carries its name.
What we know,
versus what we think.

The baseline rule
Nothing starts without one
No engagement begins without a dated baseline: at least three captures over two weeks, screenshot and shared before any work is proposed.
Questions,
answered.
Why do you run each search several times?
Because AI answers are volatile - the same question can produce a different shortlist run to run. A single search proves nothing, so a baseline is at least three captures over two or more weeks, logged out and dated. Anything less is noise, and we say so.
What is the one honest number?
The share of your agreed priority searches in which your firm is named, measured monthly across the same engines, the same way each time. You see it moving - or not - over time, and you can check it yourself; we'd encourage it.
Why won't you guarantee rankings?
Because no one controls Google's AI or ChatGPT, and engine behaviour changes without notice. A ranking guarantee is a liability dressed up as a promise. What we guarantee is our own fee: measurable work, honestly reported, refunded where we say it will be.
How will we know it's working?
We review the leading indicators together against the dated baseline - including at day 90 of any monthly engagement. If the honest answer is “not yet”, that is what the report says.
